Full-time employees receive 6 weeks (240 hrs, accrued at 20 hrs/month) of combined PTO covering sick leave, vacation, and holidays. Protokol also provides up to 3 days of personal contingency leave (PCL) for unexpected circumstances such as bereavement or jury duty; PCL must be approved in advance.
Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug coverage. Protokol pays 100% of the health insurance premium; Dental and Vision are at no cost to the employee. For HSA plans with a deductible, Protokol contributes up to $3,000/year to the employee’s HSA (matching the individual or family deductible), paid in 12 equal monthly payments.
Up to $100,000 of life insurance at no cost ($50,000 guaranteed; up to $100,000 subject to a physical exam).

Referral bonuses for successful technical hires: $5,000 for fully cleared candidates and $2,500 for uncleared candidates. Paid quarterly after the new hire completes 3 months, in 4 equal payments over one year.
Up to $5,000/year and 5 days of training time off (TTO) for courses, conferences, seminars, and certifications. Payable on successful completion (B or higher for college courses; passing certs; documented attendance). Some reimbursement terms apply if an employee voluntarily leaves before completing 1,840 billable hours after payment.
Up to $750/year for home office expenses — internet, cell service, computers, networking gear, tablets, technical books, and more. Purchases require advance approval and an expense report within 60 days.
